Trinity Methodist Church of Elizabethton was formed keeping these two verses in mind. Proverbs 16:3; Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. The second verse is Proverbs 16:9, which reads, In their hearts, humans plan their course, but the Lord established their steps.
